WAGYU KATSU SANDO - 和牛サンドイッチ

What you will need for this dish:

6 oz A5 Japanese Wagyu (Striploin, tenderloin or Ribeye)

2 toast slices (Ideally use Japanese Milk Bread)

1 egg

2 tbsp cake flour

0.7 oz bread crumbs (Pankoパン粉)

Salt and pepper

Vegetable oil
Tonkatsu Sauce:
-
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
2 tbsp ketchup
-
2 tsp mustard
-
2 tsp mayonnaise
How to cook:

Lightly season the beef with salt and pepper

Beat the egg well
-
Dip the beef into flour then egg and then bread crumbs

Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 356 degree Fahrenheit

Fry the beef for 30 seconds each side, then rest it on a kitchen paper

Toast the bread
-
Mix Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and mustard well
-
Spread the mixed sauce on the toast then place the fried beef between 2 pieces
-
Cut off the edge and cut the sandwich
